New Jersey's 24 Community Health Centers are also called Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Each center has sites where they provide care in nearby neighborhoods and schools. In total, there are 134 sites in communities where anyone can receive high quality primary and preventative healthcare services at a reasonable cost.
NJPCA stands for the New Jersey Primary Care Association (NJPCA). The NJPCA is the organization that represents the 24 Community Health Centers and 134 satellite community-based ambulatory healthcare facilities throughout the state of New Jersey. We work to ensure that everyone has access to affordable, high quality healthcare. We facilitate specialized training for Centers and we educate New Jerseyeans about healthcare policy on the national, state and local level.
